We Are Hiring | Business Development Rep

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will contact potential customers who are a good fit for Clever Punch and book their appointments to speak with our team. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, helpful, persistent, and efficient. A go-getter who loves workflows, checklists, and using software to create life hacks will thrive.

This position can be a part-time flexible position (make your own schedule 25 hours/week) OR a full-time position (M-TH 9am-5pm, F 9am-1pm). The position starts at an hourly rate of $21/hr, plus monthly bonuses for reaching targets.

What does a Business Development Representative do?
Clever Punch has multiple marketing channels built out to help potential customers find us, including SEO, Google Ads, and Linkedin, along with organic leads that come in from referrals and word of mouth. The BDR will be responsible for 1.) continuing to grow the list of contacts in our network 2.) reaching out to those contacts regularly through email, phone, text, and social media 3.) using a CRM to keep organized notes on their status 4.) getting appointments booked to speak with our team 5.) preparing and sending pitch decks and proposals when they are ready to become a client.

THIS ROLE IS A GREAT FIT FOR SOMEONE WHO…

  • has previous administrative, executive assistant, business development, or sales experience.

  • wants independence and a flexible schedule but would also like the support and camaraderie that come with being part of a fun team.

  • is a person who loves schedules, and leads a disciplined life of routine.

  • has the personality type of either Myers Briggs | ESTJ, INTP, ISFJ, INTJ, ISTJ or Ennegram 1,2, or 7 will be most likely to thrive in this position

Experience with the following programs is ideal but not required…

  • CRM platform (i.e. Hubspot, ZOHO, Salesforce)

  • Asana

  • Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sheets

  • Calendly

This role is not a good fit for…

  • Marketing creatives or someone looking to work on marketing content (e.g., branding, website, graphic design, social media)
